Heroica

This story continued The Roses of Versailles after the Revolution. We meet again Rosalie, Bernard and Alain in Napoleon's times, but the design is very different from that of The Roses of Versailles and I find it less attractive. I'm not very fond of Napoleon either...

Haha I think Ikeda doesn't like Napoleon that much. He looks... less less handsome almost the half of the story Shame

Well dianne you ought to put some scans here if you can!!!

Some one told me that there are some images of oscar but in the gaiden style and only from the back!!!

I don't like him either. He was a very bad guy! He did only bad things!
He had many affairs, he killed millions of people in his useless wars and he had a very ugly name.
But I still want to read the manga, because I'm very obsessed with that era.
And Riyoko Ikeda made him so cute in Verbara kids!

well, I`ve read the beginning of Heroica, you can find the scanlations in italian at shoujo love, and this really doesn`t look half as good as ROV, though there are Alain, Rosalie and Bernard in it...

Thanks ladyraymond! I have ''looked''(it was impossible for me to read in italian) at the first 3 chapters. Well I have never read Versailles No Bara manga so I can't say if it was better or worse. For me it was good, maybe because I like more the 1800' than 1770'-1790'

you've never read Roses of versailles?!!! you should!!!!!!!!!

If you go to lilicious.net you'll find the scanlations in english, I think they've translated something like two volumes!

Thanks very very very very much!I have read only the 1st chapter of Versailles no Bara and is it already more interesting than Eroica.
